Hit a big milestone today - Lost 50lbs on weight watchers! Got a nice little blue star next to my name - amazing.
Just totalled up the total weight loss.. 67.2lb. I cannot believe it. I am speechless.
I've got to grips with this new pro points plan on weight watchers - plan, weight and track what you eat. All I can say is thank god for the iphone app! I ate a whole packet of cookies Friday night and I still lose 3 lbs!
49 weekly points to spend on what I want. Roughly it works out to be a takeaway, or a couple of bags of sweets or a big bar of chocolate, or a little treat everyday. Fantastic.
Having a clothing dilemma as well - trousers don't fit anymore, I may have to invest in some more. I've donated so many items of clothing to charity I won't have anything left soon. Maybe they should donate some to me, lol!

Merry Christmas - Looking forward to 2011?
Sorry guys, I know its been a while. Unfortunately not been very well lately and other family matters causing a lot of stress which are still ongoing. Anyway, time for an update.
2 weeks ago (14th December), I reached my 4 stone marker. Cannot believe it. I know it sound pessimistic but there still a long way to go. Since then though I have gained, and now Christmas is over with with, I need to get New Years Eve out of the way so I can re-focus my mind back onto weight loss. I always struggle with the festive period, partly because in my family its never simple. Husband works usually and I go to my parents. Parents do what all parents do and feed you up. I've lost count of the number of 'bad' things I have eaten. Hopefully the weight I gain I will lose just as quick.
Also find out shortly before Christmas that the gym I attend may be closing, because they are knocking it down to build houses on it. Gutted. In my opinion its the best gym in the area, no one judges you and the classes are varied and well taught. The company who own the gym are denying it, but the staff have all been told to expect it to happen. Wait and see I think.
Will weight in tomorrow and see what the bad news is and then crack back on it I think.
Here's to a happier and healthier 2011 :)

Ooops!
Not blogged for a few weeks, sorry! Been on holiday, celebrating my 3rd wedding anniversary and my 26th (eek) birthday. Came back with a 4lb weight gain, but lost it the following week, so back on track!
As I am now over the 10% of my total body weight I have lost, am thinking about the next target. Am thinking, 4 stone by Christmas, or 56lbs. I am currently at 31lbs lost, so that would be another 25 lbs, is that realistic? I think so. Then I will down to, god, dare I say, nearly 16 stone. I cannot remember the last time I weight that. For me, that's a really big deal and I would lost over 5 stone, and be half way there. This time next year I should be at my goal and feeling really good and I cannot wait!
Here's to the next 11 weigh ins before Christmas for those 25lbs!

Now to 30lbs!
Okay, was away at my parents last week. This lead to not eating properly as was running around doing errands for them. Was having breakfast, skipping lunch and then having dinner. Also couldn't exercise really, nightmare! Anyway, back home now and back on track. Walking miles each day and going on the cross trainer. Now doing 10k in about 28 minutes, so shaved 2 minutes off my time. Very pleased! Still doing aerobics too, and enjoying it.
Weighed this morning, and surprisingly lost 4lbs! Now up to 30lbs, or 2st 2lbs.
Next week I'm on holiday for a week on a cruise. Lots of tempting food, but I am determined to stay on track, but also enjoy my holiday!

Lost!
3.5lb this week. Am amazed at myself for doing this. Up to 25.5lbs now in 10 weeks. Try and get 2.5lb this week so I can get my 2 stone target on WW. Then I would have lost 3 stone 2 pounds in total. Fingers crossed for me on Wednesday. Not exercising as much this week, but still going with the weights and aerobics most days.

9 weeks in and exercising more than ever
Okay, after a bad weekend of drinking and eating, decided to blast the exercise this week. Have purchased '30 day Shred' off Amazon, as it was a fitness dvd recommended by Weight Watchers users online. It arrived on Monday and it is designed to lose up to 20lb in 30 days. You start off at level 1 and do about 10 days at that level, then you move onto level 2 and so on. Sounds good to me! 4 days in and I know I have already lost weight. My whole body aches some days, but I know its a small price to pay. I am beginning to get a bit addicted to exercise, who would have thought it!
I'm trying not to weight myself before official weigh in on Wednesday, but I'm excited about the potential weight loss this week. I also do approx 10km on my cross trainer every other day (in the comfort of my own home) and I walk a lot as well.
Food wise, well I always eat breakfast, which is usually cereal with skimmed milk, or porridge made with water during the week and at weekend maybe boiled eggs, or a grilled bacon sandwich.
Lunch is either pitta bread with tuna or chicken and lots of salad, or a sandwich with the same fillings, or sometimes soup and bread. I tend to also have a fat free yoghurt and a rice cake.
Dinner varies a lot. I try and have fish as much as possible, as its low in points on the WW plan. Otherwise it's chicken or turkey. I don't eat much red meat, probably once a week at the most., its high in points! I have rice, pasta or potatoes with my dinner.
I am a very fussy eater. I hate most vegetables, onions are the worst, but I make myself eat it. I know I have to eat veg so I put it in what I am making anyway and try to eat as much as possible. Fruit I am fine with, but I avoid fruit as its high in natural sugars. I don't really like sweets, but like any girl I love chocolate. I don't deny myself chocolate, but I include it in my points allowance for the day.
I will probably blog again on Wednesday, after weigh in.

Lucie's Weight Loss Challenge
Okay guys. I have decided to set up a blog about my battle with losing weight.
I have always been overweight and have successfully lost 5 stone about 8 years ago. Unfortunately just after I met my now husband and gradually the weight has come back on. I don't need anyone to tell me why I am overweight, I know why. I'm not going to blame it on any so called medical issues either. Fact is I ate too much and didn't exercise enough.
Back in September 2008 I started my weight loss challenge. I know you are are thinking that is nearly two years ago. Okay I will explain...
In September 2008, I joined 'Slimming World' with a friend from work. At first I was practically terrified of the changes I would have to make to my eating, but it soon dawned on me that this needed to be done, as I looked like this...

I hated the way I looked. I hated having my photo taken and I hated shopping for clothes. After 6 months of slimming world I lost 1 1/2 stone and I was beginning to feel good about myself, so much so I fell off the weight loss wagon. My weight then yoyo'd for over a year, until I got so fed up I left Slimming World. I was confused with the diet, having to write down everything I ate, it was so frustrating.
In June this year after gaining about 1/2 stone again, I joined Weight Watchers Online. So far I am 9 weeks into the plan and I have lost 22lbs! I'm the lowest weight I've been for years and I feel amazing.
In my blog I will talk about how my life has transformed, what I now eat and more importantly, how much exercise I now do. I'm doing the blog as I think talking about my weight loss will hopefully help and encourage others to do the same as me. This is now what I look like nearly 3 stone lighter than I was in September 2008
I still have quite a lot to lose, but am feeling positive about the future.
